Elated to announce our artist Osiris Zuñiga’s nomination in the Stars of Design Awards, Artist Category!
Established decades ago by Pacific Design Center, the STARS OF DESIGN and STARS ON THE RISE Awards honor professionals who have achieved the highest recognition and regard among their peers for their work and contributions to their profession across creative disciplines.
Previous honorees in the Artist category include Liz Larner, Terrell James, Pae White, Vanessa Beecroft and David Hockney.
Osiris Zuñiga is a contemporary force in the art world— inflating, braiding and weaving steel to evoke human emotion through raw material and form.
Known for her steel sculptures, her work is coveted by the design community including César Giraldo, Keia McSwain, Una Malan, and Rydhima Brar.
Born in Cali, Colombia, she was raised in Brooklyn, NY and is now based in Los Angeles, CA. Osiris Zuñiga is represented by The Art Wolf Gallery.
Her work was recently featured in Galerie Magazine and in The Art Wolf Gallery Fall Preview exhibit at the Pacific Design Center.
